Simbino LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Boba Diary mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect coarse (approximate) location data only with your explicit permission. We do not collect precise location data, health data, or financial information beyond what you voluntarily enter as drink spending. You may disable location access at any time in your device settings.
3. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

- Google Sheets API: Used for optional data sync. When enabled, your drink logs are synced to a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive. We access only the specific sheet created by the App.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Providing and maintaining core App features (drink logging, ledger, analytics).
- Processing receipt images for AI-powered text extraction.
- Syncing your data across devices via cloud storage.
- Displaying advertisements through Google AdMob.
- Improving the App through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
- Communicating important updates or security notices.
5. Advertising
The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS) and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can limit ad personalization by:
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking — disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads — enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
When personalized ads are disabled, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to your interests.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Third-party services listed in Section 3, strictly for the purposes described.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your data at any time:
- In-App Account Deletion: Go to Profile > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers within 30 days.
- Email Request: Contact info@simbino.com to request data deletion. We will process your request within 30 days.
Receipt images submitted for scanning are processed in real time and are not retained after the text extraction is complete.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Secure on-device storage with encrypted credentials.
- No local storage of sensitive credentials on your device.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data (see Section 7).
- Portability: Export your data via the Google Sheets sync feature.
- Opt-Out: Opt out of personalized advertising (see Section 5).
California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell personal information.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
